WEEKENDS

The Group organises weekends away staying in Youth Hostels, Bunkhouses and campsites.  At Youth Hostels evening meals and breakfasts are provided at reasonable prices, but self catering facilities are also available.  It is advisable to bring food and drink for making packed lunches.  Transport for the weekend is pooled in order to share costs.  Proper walking equipment is essential so bring boots, rucksack, waterproofs, and warm clothing.  All weekends generally include an overnight stay on Friday and Saturday nights. The grade of walks on the weekends can vary from Sunday walks therefore please contact the appropriate organiser for further details.
